Push Madison Vs Madison

PUSH Madison Vs. Madison
I had a chance to play against Coach Wilson's Madison Park High school teams during my high school career and also got to know him personally. Coach Wilson is a great person/coach, has a great basketball mind, and he does a great job of getting his teams to play hard and compete. This was a very compelling story for especially growing up as an inner city kid. Those who watched the film got an opportunity to witness the struggle first hand and what it's like coaching inner city youths, kids from different walks of life, kids from different backgrounds growing up in gang riddled neighborhoods. I was fortunate enough to make it out, but quite honestly I'm not sure that I would have it any other way. I say that b/c I couldn't imagine growing up not knowing the unknown. I've experienced and witnessed a lot, more so than your average high school basketball player. It's made me the man that I am today. I was able to channel that negative energy into something positive. When I had a bad day...

Worth it
I heard good things about this movie and after finally watching it I was satisfied. It gave an inside view into a city otherwise overlooked.

great film!
really moving story! its not just another sports film, it tells the story of a community and the many barriers in their way of success.
