Codependent Lesbian Space Alien Seeks Same



Funny and sweet...
Charming smart touching oddball comedy. I laughed out loud many times. Well-written, well-directed, and well-acted. Really looking forward to Madeleine Olnek's next feature. Her short film, Countertransference, is just as good.

A hilarious spoof!
"Codependent Lesbian Space Alien Seeks Same" is a hilarious spoof of classic space dramas with something extra. I've seen it twice already.

Hilarious satire of 50's Sci fi films...
In this spoof of classic Sci-Fi films of the 50′s, three alien women from the planet Zots visit Earth in an effort to rid themselves of romantic feelings, which are destroying the ozone layer of their own planet. Zoinx (Susan Ziegler) immediately begins courting stationary clerk Jane (Lisa Haas) who seems to be unaware that Zoinx is indeed an alien. Despite a variety of mishaps, and unorthodox alien customs, Zoinx and Jane fall in love.

Fellow aliens Zylar (Jackie Monahan) and Barr (Cynthia Kaplan) try their hand at the urban dating world, but after several unsuccessful attempts at dating earthling women, they fall into a relationship with each other. All the while, `men in black' are keeping an eye on the alien women from a distance.

Madeleine Olnek has created a hilarious satire of the pitfalls experienced in the NYC dating scene, while making an obvious nod to Ed Wood and 1950′s B movies with the film's black and white portrayal and suitably cheesy...
